Bastion Difficulty - Easy

Relative to all Overwatch 2 heroes, Bastion is Easy to be effective with.

Bastion is a pretty easy Hero to get a basic understanding of. It boils down to "point and shoot" or "enter his Assault configuration, then point and shoot. The large spread in assault configuration can also actually help those with less than perfect aim.

Bastion is especially strong at lower ranks where teams aren't coordinated enough to focus him and penalize his lack of mobility.

Bastion Tier Rating - B-tier

We rate Bastion as a B-tier Damage hero in the current Overwatch 2 meta (among possible tiers of S, A, B, C, and D).

While Bastion deals absolutely massive damage, his lack of mobility and massive hitbox can make him an easy kill at higher ranks. Higher-rank teams can simply wait for him to leave his Assault configuration and then focus him. At lower ranks, where teams are less coordinated, he's a much stronger Hero.

While there are usually better team compositions to choose from, Bastion is most effective when combined with a shield and Support with high burst healing.
