D.Va Difficulty - Medium

Relative to all Overwatch 2 heroes, D.Va is Medium difficulty to be effective with.

We were torn between an Easy and Medium difficulty rating for D.Va. Although her abilities are fairly straightforward to understand, it can take some time to learn when to attack and when to help your teammates as D.Va.

Her defense Matrix last quite a while and has a very short cooldown, but if you get caught away from your Supports enemy teams can quickly de-Mech you playing as D.Va.

Despite our Medium difficulty rating for D.Va, we think she's the easiest to play and be effective with of the highly mobile Tank heroes in Overwatch 2.

D.Va Tier Rating - A-tier

We rate D.Va as a A-tier Tank hero in the current Overwatch 2 meta (among possible tiers of S, A, B, C, and D).

D.Va definitely isn't a must-pick in the current OW2 meta, but she's a very solid dive Tank when the situation calls for it. We also think she has the highest skill floor among this group of tanks, though not the highest ceiling.
