About this GRIT to Half-Life 2 Sensitivity Converter

This GRIT to Half-Life 2 sensitivity converter lets you get the same effective sensitivity in Half-Life 2 that you have in GRIT. By the same "effective sensitivity", we mean that moving your mouse a certain distance will rotate you the same amount in both GRIT and Half-Life 2 (or as close to the same as is possible given the games' precision limits).

How to Use Our GRIT to Half-Life 2 Sens Converter

To use our GRIT to Half-Life 2 sens converter to find your Half-Life 2 sensitivity, simply enter your GRIT sens in the "From Game Sensitivity" input. Your converted Half-Life 2 sens will automatically be calculated.

If you're using a different mouse DPI for each game or you want to accurately calculate your inches/360, cm/360, and eDPI for Half-Life 2, you'll need to enter your mouse DPI for both games.

Recommended GRIT Sensitivity, eDPI, and cm/360

We recommend a cm/360 between 20 and 80 for competitive first-person shooters like GRIT. cm/360 is a measurement of how many centimeters you need to move your mouse to rotate 360 degrees in-game.

Your GRIT in-game sensitivity and your mouse DPI both affect your cm/360, so we're recommending a range of sensitivities for common mouse DPIs.

GRIT Recommended Sensitivity

  • For a mouse DPI of 400, we recommend a GRIT sensitivity between 0.48 and 1.94
  • For a mouse DPI of 800, we recommend a GRIT sensitivity between 0.24 and 0.97
  • For a mouse DPI of 1600, we recommend a GRIT sensitivity between 0.12 and 0.48
  • For a mouse DPI of 3200, we recommend a GRIT sensitivity between 0.06 and 0.24

GRIT Recommended eDPI

Your GRIT eDPI is your GRIT in-game sens multiplied by your mouse's DPI. We recommend a GRIT eDPI between 194 and 774.
